There's a lot of it, so here's some bullet points of major events.

• Anduin was born to Varian and Tiffin Wrynn. He's named for Anduin Lothar (the Lion of Stormwind) and King Llane (Anduin's grandfather).
• Tiffin Wrynn is killed during an attack on Stormwind when Anduin is very young.
• Varian Wrynn goes missing on the way to a diplomatic summit. Anduin is temporarily made King and is advised by Katrina Prestor and Bolvar Fordragon as Anduin is not even a teenager at this point.
• Varian returns and takes up the King mantle again.
• tl;dr Varian had been split in half and the personality issues stemmed from this. Anduin and the others realise Kartina Prestor is the dragon Onyxia. She takes Anduin hostage to bait Varian.
• Anduin is rescued by his father.
• Anduin participates in the Peace Summit that later takes place.
• Soon Anduin starts to realise he wants to follow a pacifist philosophy instead of being a warrior. He's allowed to spend time in other cities as a diplomat.
• Anduin is in Ironforge when he discovers his true calling to be a priest.
• He helps King Magni in Ironforge and sees the other turned into diamond. He's then held hostage by the new ruler until Varian rescues him again. He convinces Varian to not kill the new Ironforge ruler.
• Helps his father heal when Varian starts lashing out again.
• Anduin helps in Exodar, healing refugees and offering services and spends a lot of time with the naaru O'ros, learning to understand the Light.
• Heals his father after an attack by the Twilight's Hammer which then convinces Varian that priests aren't soft.
• Studies the Holy Light with Velen and the draenei.
• Anduin's flagship is shot down by the Horde when he's on a diplomatic mission. He's shipwrecked in the Jade forest and he ventures inland.
• He's then rescued but Anduin refuses to go home, using his mind control skill to escape from the agents sent to retrieve him.
• He's then captured by the Horde, but he slips away from them too, hitching a ride with some Panderen. He hears about the Crane Wind Order and he asks for an audience with Chi- Ji, a healing Celestial. He then gets to study under the disciples of Chi-Ji.
• Anduin reunites with his father who arrives in Pandaria and talks the man into taking the peaceful route to protect the place.
• Learns about the Divine Bell, something that would cause a lot of chaos when rung. He researches it more and finds there is a counter called the Harmonic Mallet.
• Anduin solves riddles and finds the pieces to get the Mallet put together before going to stop Garrosh from ringing the bell personally.
• Garrosh rings the bell, Anduin stops it after a moment. Garrosh destroys the bell in a fit of rage which collapses on Anduin and crushes him. He's then left for dead.
• Anduin is retrieved and spends a lot of time being healed. It's said the pain will never truly go away and is even now an indicator of danger.
• Anduin spends time recovering in Pandaria int the Tavern in the Mists. He meets Wrathion and discusses a lot of events with him whilst playing board games.
• After a quest chain, sees Wrathion take the heart of the Thunder King who then eats it. Anduin says he doesn't trust Wrathion and Wrathion replies that he's wise not to.
• Anduin is present during the trial of Garrosh Hellscream. Even though the other is responsible for atrocities, Anduin speaks to the other at his request. He even testifies that he believes people can change their ways and prevents Garrosh from eating poisoned food that Anduin had found out about moments prior.
• The trial goes to Hell due to interference from a group rescuing Garrosh and aided by Wrathion.
• The Burning Legion returns to Azeroth and Anduin stays in Stormwind as his father goes out to right. Varian is ultimately slain due to working with the Horde and the Horde having to suddenly retreat.
• Anduin becomes King, insisting there is a better way than revenge.
• He goes to where his father died, finding Shalamayne buried and realizing that he needs to accept his duties as King. He doesn't tell anyone of the vision of Varian he had seen then.
• The Burning Legion is defeated but the titan Sargeras throws a giant sword into the world, wounding it and bringing a new mineral Azerite to the surface. This ignites tensions as both Horde and Alliance are after it.
• Leads a sige on the Undercity to defeat Sylvanas after the other burns down Teldrassil. They get to her, but the banshee leaves Anduin and the others to be stuck in a collapsing room. They're teleported out by the archmage Jaina.
• Anduin speaks with a captured Saurfang and asks him why the other didn't kill him when he had the chance. Saurfang admits he had hoped Anduin would stop Sylvanas. Anduin walks out but not before leaving the cell door open.
• Gets a new battle ship from the Kul Tirans!!
• Anduin tries to help thwart an assassination plan by Sylvanas on Baine Bloodhoof.
• Now there's old gods trying to take over. Magni brings Wrathion to the Keep to offer assistance. It's the first time Anduin has seen the other since the trial of Garrosh and he punches the other in the face, blaming Wrathion for the fact the Legion happened and his father died.
• Reluctantly accepts the offer of help when Anduin sees a vision of Stormwind falling to darkness.

SUITABILITY:

Anduin has come across such things in a way, in that there are Old corrupted Gods in his world trying to take over. They use mind tricks and corruption so the idea of things not being how they seem is not currently new to Anduin. He will face it as he faces it back home; with strength, determination and the help of others. If everyone bands together then most things can be overcome and in his mind this new place would not be an exception to that. He is a priest of the Light so he is well versed in the idea that there are things in the darkness, even though Anduin may not have come face to face with them.

Anduin would, however, struggle with things such as the technology since his own world is not quite up to speed in that sense.

PERSONALITY.

Your character has a chance to undo a terrible mistake, but in doing so, there could be unintended consequences for everyone they know. Is it worth the risk? Or should the dead stay dead?

Anduin would not undo a mistake if it came at the cost of others, even if it did mean bringing back the dead. His own father only just recently died and Anduin would give what he could to bring the man back, but he could not justify hurting or impacting others for his own gain. In doing so he would be forgoing everything he wishes to be; kind, patient and selfless. By doing something like this for his own gain Anduin knows he would suddenly become as bad as others and if he cannot forgive them for doing such things then he cannot forgive himself for following suit. Time and time again he has seen other leaders succumb to such temptations and it has never ended well. A mistake is something to learn from in Anduin's mind no matter how much it hurts and keeps him awake at night. He knows if he does not learn from such things then he will never grow and will be likely to repeat said mistake in future.

In Anduin's opinion the dead should stay dead if they have moved on, no matter how much leaving it that way hurts. It is his responsibility to think of everyone, not just himself. That is the role he was born in to, the role his father carried and the one Anduin will carry on.

If your character had the option to permanently lose the ability to feel certain negative emotions like fear or grief, or permanently forget certain memories, would they take it? What if they will never know that something has been taken from them? Does loss only matter if it's known what's missing?

No, if given the option Anduin would keep the negative emotions. He knows what grief and loss feels like, he lost his mother at a young age and his father more recently. He has seen so many people losing their lives or having things impacting them so terribly and his heart hurts for each and every one of them. Losing such emotions would help with the pain and Anduin would contemplate that much, but it would never go further than that. The pain is something he needs to carry with him, it is his duty to do so to shoulder the burden so others do not have to. If he could make it so others did not feel negative emotions at a cost to himself he would be severely tempted to do so, but even then it would still need some thought. Pain is what makes things real, to remind him that things are not always going to go right or that things can happen no matter how much preparation happens. Removing such thoughts could make someone lazy and prone to hurting others. If someone cannot feel negativity they would not think twice about inflicting it on others as their empathy would be gone and Anduin knows that empathy is one of the most important emotions out there.

As for other emotions such as rage, they would ne nice to get rid of but the above still stands true. He just has to look at Genn Greymane to see how rage can be harnessed to do something good, even if it's a curse.

Could your character ever forgive themselves for something morally wrong that they've done? No matter how much time has passed? No matter how much penitence has been done? Is being sorry enough to be a good person?

Anduin would struggle to forgive himself for doing something morally wrong no matter how much time has passed. He likes to believe his moral compass is in the right place and that the Light will guide him in making the right choices when the time comes, that he can be the example he wishes the rest of the world to see. Anduin has made mistakes that have even resulted in the death of others and he has found it hard to forgive himself for being so naïve when it comes to it. If he'd thought about what he was doing or listened to the advice of others it may not have worked out hurting other people.

That beings said, Anduin is not prone to doing something wrong morally, except for wandering around Pandaria knowing there were others looking for him. He doesn't feel bad about it as it meant he met a lot of others and ultimately it wound up in them uncovering things to stop Garrosh from causing severe harm. But then no-one really died from Anduin running away nor did they suffer, so he has not had to come to terms with his own selfish actions causing someone harm.

Is being sorry good enough though? In Anduin's mind it should be, the Light is there to guide them and sometimes forgiveness is the right path no matter what, it's just much harder to do when trying to forgive one's self.

Your character has a secret they have been sworn to, but revealing this secret could save the lives of countless others. Is it worth breaking the promise to save others, or is betrayal never justifiable?

If Anduin had a secret he was sworn to that could save the lives of so many others he would reluctantly tell it. He has seen what keeping information quiet has done to others and the lives it has cost during the invasion of the Legion. Lack of communication has often led to crossed wires and simple gaps in intel that have then caused damage and worse. He knows that the person sharing the secret would be disappointed and probably disown him or such, but how could he look the families of those lost in the face knowing that he could have saved them just by opening his mouth? It's his duty as King of Stormwind to think of everyone, not just himself, and if telling a secret saves lives but causes him some discomfort then so be it, he would do it twice if need be.

Betrayal is not really justifiable in Anduin's mind, but is it betrayal if it saves people? Anduin isn't sure on that and will debate it often in his mind, looking at examples of it throughout the Horde and the Alliance. Betrayal often causes problems in the aftermath rather than the initial action and sometimes things can be calmed down when the reasons are put forwards. But again it depends on the results, if the betrayal causes carnage then no it's not justifiable, it never is. Is it betrayal if someone is asking for someone to not save lives and that person then does so? Anduin wouldn't think it to be that way, the betrayal would be asking him to not take action if they truly knew him.

Has your character ever gotten joy out of hurting others, physically or mentally? If they have, does it scare them?

No, Anduin has never gotten joy out of hurting others and he probably never would. He is not the sort of person quick to want revenge or to lash out suddenly. Unlike his late father, Anduin is known to be more serene and patient, to be more pacifist when it comes to making decisions when it comes to the enemy. Hurting people never brings Anduin joy even when it's the enemy and not for his own joy or amusement. He is a priest of the Light, he has devoted himself to healing and caring for others, not for bringing them pain (even though the option is there through the shadow aspect of the job). He doesn't want to see others suffer as he has through his life and inflicting that on others makes his skin crawl. It would have to be extremely warranted for someone else under his command to do such too, there has only been one instance where someone inflicted pain for information that would stop someone from potentially destroying everything and even then it's somewhat unclear as to if Anduin grasps the actual fact someone did it.

If Anduin suddenly started feeling joy in other people's misery he would be instantly concerned and bringing it up with the others who follow the Light for their guidance. Feeling such things would mean that something is very wrong and that something is probably trying to corrupt him.
